Education & Background
Alisha earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut—one of the few nursing programs in the country endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation. While working in traditional acute care, she pursued her Master’s in Nursing with a focus on Family Practice from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois.
Path to Functional and Regenerative Medicine
Her time in conventional medicine revealed a significant disconnect between mind, body, and spirit in patient care. A personal health scare deepened her passion for integrative and functional medicine, inspiring her to focus on uncovering the root causes of chronic symptoms and conditions.
Today, she empowers patients through personalized care that addresses the whole person—not just their diagnosis. Alisha is certified in regenerative therapies, including ultrasound-guided orthopedic joint injections and aesthetic procedures, as well as men’s and women’s hormone health.
Beyond the Clinic
In addition to her clinical work, Alisha serves as an adjunct nursing professor at various universities in South Florida, teaching future nurses the importance of holistic, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, she enjoys boating, traveling, shopping, spending time with her husband and family, and sipping on a good iced coffee.
